Folding.....how to Fix name and team#

I've seen a lot of requests of..."how do I get my name and team#
    in because it didn't ask...."

From a command prompt (dos prompt):

Type the complete path to the .exe .......

For me, I rename the client FAH2.exe , so my path would be:

    D:/Folding/FAH2.exe NOW.....put a '-config' following the path

    ie:

D:/Folding/FAH2.exe -config (put a space between the .exe and the -config)

The client will start and ASK you for your name and team #. This
is the safest way to correct your user information. Answer no to
the other 2 questions and you are set.
It works on both the v2.15 and v2.17 console (I've tried both)
If yours is correct then don't run this. Just check it in the client.cfg.

Hope this helps alleviate any future problems.

I just opened the client.cfg file in Notepad and entered my name and team number in the appropriate places and saved it.

Have you checked the client.cfg to ensure the info is correct?
If not....shut down....run as listed above.

there are numerous threads in forums of problems caused
by modifying the client.cfg file directly, especially when it
is saved in the wrong format.

The stats usually take about an hour to show......don't turn purple holding your breath!

Steve post what your client config file says exactly. Just copy and paste it in post here so we can look at it. Those are not yes or no questions it is looking for input name/team number.
