If you are able to ad to that page, you might also ad that this year is the Tenth anniversary of the start of Folding@Home (It was launched on October 1, 2000) / this will be marked by Stanford's Pande Group ! (don't know how though)

thanks for the mention (so far) and thinking of your fellow DC-project and PCPer members/donors
.
Would be nice, but the name is spelled right, and that's the important part!!!

Actually it will be good to do that in late September. Then you guys get the show then and we get the footnote mention. This way our teams get yet another mention on the front page.
Just someone has to remember before then.

Someone running a system with a Calender with bells and whistles ?
.
Yes and no. Yes I've got one on my laptop, no it doesn't start up automatically (it turns on only when I check my e-mail - which happens only once a week or so).
Funny, I actually use the PM system here more then actual e-mails.![]()
.
I use emails more than PM, but I use Thunderbird as my email client and that has not a calender in its arsenal.
I think (and hope) that Stanford or the Fah-Addict website (f.e.) will alert us in time for the big day
I might, by then, have forgotten that you can put up a front page article about it, but I 'll post in this forum (new thread) when the time comes
.
I have it marked, but I'm not sure I'll see it.
The worst thing is I'm planning on formating my laptop sometime over the next month when Kubuntu 10.04 LTS gets released. I'm hoping I can back everything up and get my files/contacts/e-mail/appointments all transfered back without any issue. But it'll be a major upgrade so not sure how its going to go.
Never thought to even try to export!
I was just planning on grabbing all the config & data files and putting them back on the drive after upgrading. Another case of getting a certain idea in my head and wanting to blindly run with it without considering other options.
Well I'm back in NJ from EU after 4 weeks or so.
Switzerland, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia and Malta.
I came back today from Zurich, left around 10.30 and about 2 hours later they closed the airport because of the Icelandic volcano ash problem spreading ..
I'm feeling pretty lucky & GPU folders are back in production.
One of my co-workers managed to dodge the bullet too, coming from Greece!![]()

Glad you're back safe, also hope you managed to get some "fun" in the trip somewhere!![]()

You 've gone through the eye of the needle, buddy
No-one knows how long this will be going on, this disruption of normal commercial flights within and from W.-Europe ...
Say hello to the wife and kids from us here (under the cloud of ash)
Fingers crossed this clears up soon
