How do you keep your PC noise level down?

Padding, change of fans (low cfm fans), ...

I bought a couple Panaflo fans and padded the interior of my case.

It seems to have reduce the noise level a bit. Any suggestions on how to reduce it even further with other methods?

get rid of the coolermaster and put in a pal8045 with a lower cfm Fan, whatever you want really as i have seen L1A's even used. also swap out the fan in your PS for a Panaflo L1A. i think thats about as much as you can do really after padding and lower cfm fans.

8045 plus Sanyo Denki 36 CFM works great for me. One other trick: if the back of your computer is within 8 inches of a wall hang a double-folded heavyweight towel on the wall behind it. Sounds silly but it's worked wonders for me. Most of what you hear from exhaust and PSU fans is echoes off your back wall and the towel kills the echoes. If you have foam rubber try that. My computer is 6 in. from the back wall right now and it's real quiet.

Yes, you should try to use a 80mm fan on the CPU heatsink. 80mm->60mm adaptor is an option, but preferrably you want a real 80mm HSF, like the Alpha 8045 and Swiftech. A low speed 80mm is a lot quieter than a low speed 60mm fan.

It might help reduce fan imbalance (i.e: vibration) by using some sort of rubber standoffs/washers.

Also, retire your 75GXP with a Seagate Barracuda IV. It's noticably quieter and more reliable that a 75GXP.....

Yeah, and like Divabrake said, tried not to put the back of the case too close to a flat wall.

Big fast fans and lots of em, just shove it all in a Lian-Li case .
