Weird error message when trying to install printer software

When I try to install the printer software, I get the following error message:
"The data area passed to a system call is too small"

What does that mean?

lol that is a weird error message. what kinda of printer is it?

Under the printers properties (right click the printer in the printers and faxes section of the control panel) \advanced tab- try setting the printer to Print after the last page is spooled rather than print immediately.

It is a Canon C755.
I can't even get the software to install, so i cannot change the settings on the printer yet

Have you tried downloading the latest drivers fron Canon?- noticed there was an SP2 update there

I got newer software from a friend for the same printer, and everything works fine.
