How "new" do you want it? The Last Remnant is a pretty decent JRPG which will require a bit of grinding, solid story and addictive gameplay as long as you're willing to learn the battle system. Has fairly high requirements though, so you'll need a decent computer to handle the Unreal 3 engine + PhysX.
For the pc, there's not many JRPGs at all. I'm a huge fan of JRPGs myself, but I generally use my consoles for them, due to the low amount of english translated JRPGs. I'm sure if you look in the right places, you'll find some good ones though.

Viewsonic ... they still suck... but now i'm going to get to see if they can make an lcd that works thanks to warranty.. and lcd that costs half as much as that crt did. i still recommend that you NEVER buy from them. EVER! there are plenty of brands out there that will make you something that does actually work.
