A7V333 and Barton 2500+

Can i use the Barton 2500+ with my A7V333, version 1.01....i could run the fsb and ram sync at 166*2, right??....

If i could this would be a nice upgrade to my 1900+ for $85....

this question get's asked frequently - use the search engine and search the ASUS forum for "A7V333 Barton" and have a look.

It will probably work - maybe 95% chance of success based on the last 3-4 months of guys upgrading.

If you decide to go for it:

ONLY RUN BIOS 1016.
Run 166 x 12.5
RAM 1:1 (Only IF you have PC-2700 RAM)
Turbo if your RAM can handle it. Start out with Optimum.
Voltage 1.65v

Yes, if it works you will see about ~15% increase on MadOnion 3D 2001 marks.
