OK, it seems that right now there is a bug in the admin pages that won't allow us to turn on the bots due to world stats being turned on. As soon as MirAGe01 can get to the server, he'll reset it so that stats are off and we can get some bots in there.

It works!!!

Well, MirAGe01 & I had a spin on the server last night - very successful it was too Good pings (mine averaged between 90 and 100) and no slowdowns with 3 players and 5 bots. We're gonna try and set up a big server load next week to see how the bandwidth copes.

438!!! OMG, so how many times did you get your own rocket up your butt? Glad you like the server though. Hopefully as time goes on, it'll get more populated

Dammit - wish I could have been there. It's really frustrating when your main (read: only workable) computer is down

I've set up a webpage where you can see the current status of the server such as game type, which map, # of players, etc.
You can get to the page from my home page at www.houseofmirage.com
It's not to pretty right now but it's functional and i'll be working on it more when i get a chance.

Check that page out for custom map packs.

They currently have three of them up.

I have the first two already and am downloading the third.

Let me know if you have any installation troubles...These map packs are a bit strange.

Interesting. Wish I could try 'em , but I'm still rigless. I'll bring it up with MirAGe01 to see if he can load them up.

Just so you guys know I'll be bringing the server down tonight for some quick maintenance and to install a new NIC in it. It's a 3COM NIC I bought for my main box when I built it but couldn't get it to work with WinXP so it's just been lying around collecting dust. It's an awesome NIC and extremely fast and more secure so I'm going to put it in the server and see what happens.
I'll look into those custom maps when I get a chance. Been really busy lately with school, work, and working on my own webpages. Plus still need to set aside time for my girlfriend
Here is a link to the 3COM NIC I'm going to be using:

I don't have UT2K3 to hand, but if I remember correctly, you can go to the "favorites" tab, and select "new" from there. Then you can just type in the IP there. If you're on the master server list, you should be able to highlight a server and choose new favorite or something like that.

Dammit, I hate not being at home..... but then I don't have a gaming rig right now either, so it really wouldn't help being at home.
