A7V133 FSB Jumper Settings...

Someone had asked for these and I am not sure who so I am posting them here. I hope the person that was looking for these finds them.

They don't exactly match up with the book in most cases....but maybe they are close enough?

Hey TMack409!

They did match up exactly with the four settings that I had in my A7V133 book. Rev 1.02 E704, January 2001.

My book only lists 5:

100 11111
103 11110
105 11101
110 10001
133 00100

Those five match the settings in the info I was given. But I have not hand tested each setting. If anyone else finds any mistakes please post your corrections here!

Thanks,
Torin

Look again at your first post settings for 133 and then your last post.

Do the same thing for 100. Not the same switch settings.

They are slightly off frequency. Which is why I said they might be close enough.

btw, your book and mine do agree.

I see what you mean. The 100MHz one is slightly different. I suspect this is simply because of rounding for the tech manual while the numbers I found are more specific.

100 11111
vs
1 1 1 0 0 . . . 100.00 . 33.33
1 1 1 1 1 . . . 100.90 . 33.57

103 11110
vs
1 1 1 1 0 . . . 103.00 . 34.33

105 11101
vs
1 1 1 0 1 . . . 105.00 . 35.00

110 10001
vs
1 0 0 0 1 . . . 110.00 . 36.67

133 00100
vs
1 0 1 0 0 . . . 133.00 . 33.33
0 0 1 0 0 . . . 133.33 . 33.33
0 1 0 0 0 . . . 133.73 . 33.43

But as I say, I do not know these to be fact nor do I know them to be 100% accurate so your milage may vary. And any and all corrections are always welcome.

Is there anyway this can be added to the FAQ for the A7V133? I know that Klondikekit used some special "hack-proof" software called php wiki to compose it so I don't know for sure if it's modifiable.

Here's the link:http://www.amdmb.com/wiki/index.php?A7V-A7V133

I can't add to the actual form (that I know of). I have already added this to the Forum Links post.
I can however change the link to the A7v133 Faq (in the monster threads post) to another intermediate page, so if you have a list of appropriate links for such a page, send 'em over.

For the life of me, I can not tell you where that A7V133FAQ resides. The one I referenced in the above post as a hotlink.

I finally saved it in my favorites cause it's only by blind luck that I can ever eventually stumble over it............

I asked RYAN to make it more accessible but have not received a response. It is not the same thing as what you get when you go up top and click on FAQ's then down to older, outdated FAQ's. That's where it *should* be.
Makes for easy discovery and reference.

Maybe I'm not understanding. The one you linked is the same as "Monster Threads..."- "Issues and fixes for A7Vand A7V133". That is where it should be and correct, no?

edit- -Oh I see, you mean in the Menu bar. Hmmm that *is* a bit of a weak FAQ link in general isn't it?

Sorry to get a little bit of topic but I just noticed that you have an overclocked 2100+ Senor Panadero. Could you tell me what you are using to cool the CPU and what vcore you are using?

Thanks,
Torin

You are supposed to use one of these LOL

The SLK-800 with a butchered Thermaltake fan of some sort.
The vcore needed is about this;
2100-2150 1.65
2200-2250 1.725
2300+ 1.85+

Hmmm. I tried the setting for 137. (Which I've achieved many times in JumperFree mode with no probs). It locked up. Went back to 133 setting and rock solid again.

I am not feeling particularly brave about experimenting to verify these settings...

Where did you find this data?
