Actually it is Lydia. Instead of using LydiaatSoltek.com, she uses LydiAtSoltek.com, looks more visually pleasing. She even refers to herself as Lydia in her emails to me.
is there any issues between winxp sp2 and soltek SL-K8AN2E-GR? considering chipset driver installed, graphic card driver, all windows update, but beforeno other software or utilities installed
When is Soltek going to release a bios that will fix the problem with the communication between the cpu and bios on the SL-K8TPro-939?
Will have more questions in a few.
Thank You
Hudini

Lydia she is currently helping me with the capacitors on my FRN-L ......soltek had a problem with support e-mails I wrote 4 e-mails with no reply finely after 3 weeks I wrote agian and ... Ring.. got back to me the next day ...then ...sophia ...the day after that then...Lydia...the next day they sure are trying hard to help me with my problem... SOLTEK support.... ROCKS
Sorry, Brothergc.
I guess I didn't make it clear.
Actually I wondered if you could "borrow" other RAMs from some friends instead of purchasing new ones. I believe not everyone can afford keeping buying new items
Hope you will get a further finding after testing the Epox.
Thanks and regards,
Lydia the epox has fixed my problem, no more freezes on restart (so far ) might want to pass on to the bios team that it would be a good idea tohave a option to allow bank interleave to be disabled/enabled
sad that Soltek will not be building any boards based on the nforce 3 ultra chipset , it is something your company might want to reconsider. I know if Soltek had one of these I would have ordered it instead of the epox . I am now selling the SL K8T pro I prefer the nvidia chipset over the via. the lan is far better then the one on the K8T pro, my download speed has increased by 15%

Hi All,
Thank you very much for staring this thread for me. It does save me much time to check out each new thread in this forum
Blue Heart,
Sorry my name is Lydia. The reason why I used "LydiAtSoltek" is that I mistakenly skipped an "A" when registering in another forum
I have checked with my colleagues here and we hardly heard of any incompatibility between Win XP SP2 and SL-K8AN2E-GR. Do you have any problem with them?
Hudini,
Sorry I can't figure out what you meant by "the problem with the communication between the cpu and bios on the SL-K8TPro-939". Could you please explain it again for me?
Tkeddy,
Thank you very much for the understanding. Hope you will get the capacitors soon.
Brothergc,
Thank you very much for the suggestions. I will pass them on to our BIOS team and R&D Dept. BTW, have you sold out the SL-K8TPro-939?

Thanks Lydia,
I havent assembled the machine yet, will do it wednsday, but some folks over here warned me about sp2, although i have it on my emachines notebook with via k8t800 chipset and it is working fine, but i thought there might be some known issues, but as long as you confirmed nothing known, then i will go ahead and install it once i am done assembling
will let you guys know about machine performance and stability/compatibility.
Hi All,
Brothergc,

Best regards,
Yes I sold the soltek , it was cheeper to do that then but new memory . I have yet to have any probelms with the Epox NF3 Ultra. as I said before ( Im sure you herd me the 1st time) It is a shame Soltek does not have a NF3 Ultra mainboard , one thing for sure Soltek knows how do do Nvidia chipsets The right way
Thanks !
My K8TPro-939 seems to be running hot, between 50 and 69c. It shoudl be running between 30c and 55c.
So I did some research and found that AMD did something different to the winchester core 939's and forgot to tell the motherboard manufactures. I was wondering when Soltek was going to make a bios revision to fix the high temp readings from the bios?
Hi Hudina,
Actually we have a BETA BIOS revised for the temperature issue.
If you would like to give it a shot, please email me at lydia@soltek.com.tw. I will then send it to you.
