Adaptec 2100S RAID + more memory = faster loading?

I have a Adaptec 2100S with 2 Maxtor Atlas 10k2's in RAID 0. The controller has 32mb of memory. I was wondering if upgrading the memory module on the controller to 128mb would make my applications load faster? I mainly use this rig for gaming and some photoshop.

Re: Adaptec 2100S RAID + more memory = faster loading?

I have a suspicion that it won't make a lot of difference in a desktop system but it probably would in a heavy workload environment like server duty. I'm sure the SCSI gurus will chime in as well, so check back.
