updating Nvidia drivers

I just built a new low cost rig. For the VGA I put in an MSI NX6200AX-TD256. Now, MSI has their bios updating "Live Bios" system but they say my drivers are up to date. I checked with Nvidia's site, though, and the drivers I have on there are outdated by a year and a half (that is the new bios are from 18 months after the date posted on my bios). Can I update to the new ones using the Nvidia site, or should I just sit tight and wait for an update to appear on the MSI system updater? Thanks.

Re: updating Nvidia drivers

I have always opted to use the drivers straight from Nvidia for anything built by them - chipset/gpu etc etc.

As an alternate place to DL from, I sometimes use Guru3D.

Re: updating Nvidia drivers

dump live update and go to nvidia directly for your drivers. I have used this method for all nvidia drivers. Including my MSI vid cards and motherboards
