What's the current "THE Fan" case fan?

Have a buzzing case fan in my Cosmos, all are 120mm fans. What's THE one to get? Budget is a concern (not spending $10 on a case fan) and the last time I bought fans I was buying 80mm Panaflo fans.

Thanks

Expect to spend 10 to 15 dollars per fan now-a-days unless you buy cheaper stuff. ( This is with shipping included )

I just recently got a cooler master fan, one red and one green, from the R4 series here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...e=3727%3A26538

They're 9 bucks a piece without shipping.

Re: What's the current "THE Fan" case fan?

i used to get the antec pro series ones, they worked well, i bought 4 or 5 of the white led rosewillones to replace the fans in my case (long story, buzzing sound, was the nf4 chipset fan not the case ones, YAY ASUS SUCKS!), and those have worked flawlessly as well.

I don't need LEDs, would rather not have any actually.

No NB fan...

I use a lot of 120mm Vantec Stealth fans. Not silent but quiet 55 CFM fans. They respond well to fan controllers as well. Oldest I have is @ 4yrs old 24/7. Cant tell which one it is.

scythe has a pretty good line of fans. they also have some really cool packaging, lots of asian alphabet characters on them...not that that's a real plus, but i thought they were neat.

they seem to offer good performance for the price.

Your going to be hard pressed to find "THE FAN" for under $10 shipped.

Yate Loon's are pretty popular it seems:

If you want to spend some more money, the Noctua's are ugly, but nice. Push a lot of air, but are very quiet:

Like Brandito said, Scythe makes some good fans as well.

If your looking for a $2 fan, your going to get a $2 fan. Nomsayin?
