ever since i heard ION accelerated netbooks/nettops could play HD videos i've been thinking about getting a nettop to replace my old desktop. i would use it for only a few things:
1. playback HD videos, probably 720p, althought 1080i or 1080p would be a nice bonus
2. leave on FOREVER as a download/torrent box, i like to seed!
3. some web browsing.
for some reason i started looking today and i really like the acer aspire revo:

its power consumption is VERY low, almost all under 20w

on newegg i see the slightly bulked up one for another hundred dollars. i have spare ram sitting at home so i can upgrade that for free. not having wifi is fine because i have a usb wifi stick i can put in it. i dont care about the accessories for it, it will most likely be running headless or in a kvm switch. i dont care about the onboard storage, i have plenty of externals i can hookup to this thing.
in the cnet review they didnt show if it could playback 720p or better videos. can this nettop cut it? does anyone else have suggestions that are under 300$? i REALLY like the fact that this is 200$ and very low power.
edit: are there still ION accelerated features coming in 2010, like flash acceleration? should i maybe wait a few months to get anything? intel is coming out with next gen atom stuff in jan/feb 2010, right (should i just wait for a price drop then)?
edit2: i would not be opposed to try and build my own low power system. my constraints for it thought is that it would HAVE to be under 500$ (the cheaper the better here) and under 75 watts load. i really like the size and power consumption and prices of the nettops though, so i would probably just go for that....
