I would first run the
Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor on the machine you are wanting to install Windows 7 on. This will tell you if any drivers or other programs are known to not work with Windows 7.
I have not had any experience with the programs you mention, but I will say that the only programs that we found not to work under Windows 7 natively will work in Compatibility mode. (We had to make 1 program run as if it was on Windows Vista SP2 and one as if it was on Windows XP SP3, with success).
Have you thought of Dual-booting your system?
