Steam games question

Hey guys is there any way to play my steam downloaded games off line without connecting to steam?

They'll have to be updated, as in they have to be "100% - Ready" otherwise you can't play them in offline mode.

It will. It'll give you a connection error, and ask if you want to go into "offline" mode, or try and retry connection. Obviously, for your purposes, choose "offline" mode :P
